The Links, Incorporated mourns the loss of our member Dr. Hazel N. Dukes. An elder stateswoman for our generation, Dukes was the very embodiment of advocacy. A true Drum Major for Justice, Duke’s work fighting discrimination, promoting education reform and battling poverty spanned decades and impacted not only her home of New York, but the entire nation. We extend to the family and friends of Hazel N. Dukes our prayers for peace and comfort in this moment of great loss. (fb)
