To unite the citizens and visitors of Saluda to acquire and preserve the historic Saluda train depot for future generations and to develop it into and operate it as a heritage museum and visitors center, emphasizing the railroad history and the Saluda Grade.

The Saluda Grade crests at the top of this small mountain village and is the steepest mainline standard gauge railroad in the country. You will learn how the depot has been preserved how you can contribute to this preservation exhibits that you will see in the museum and keep up with all of the events at the depot. The Museum is open Thursday through Saturday 1200pm to 4pm Sunday 1pm to 4pm and some holidays.
