Monongalia County Literacy Volunteers
Our mission is to reduce the number of adults who can not read well enough to possess basic literacy skills in Monongalia and Preston Counties. Literacy Volunteers? volunteer tutors assist these adult learners to help them improve their reading and writing skills at no charge (FREE) to the adult learner. Literacy Volunteers strictly upholds the confidentiality of all adult learners in the program. The organization also seeks to raise public awareness of the problems associated with adult illiteracy.
