SQPN, Inc., also known as the Star Quest Production Network, is a Catholic non-profit organization in the United States, registered under the Internal Revenue Code as a 501(c)(3) charitable entity. The organization's mission is to serve the Catholic Church by bridging the gap between modern culture and Catholic values. This mission is accomplished through the production of audio and video programs that explore the intersection of faith and pop culture.

Mission and Activities

SQPN aims to reconnect the Catholic Church with modern society in three main ways:

• Value Integration: The organization produces programs that connect popular culture with underlying Christian and human values.
• Faith Explanation: SQPN funds audio and video productions that creatively and accessibly explain the Catholic faith to those unfamiliar with it.

Programs and Content

SQPN produces a wide range of content, including popular shows such as Jimmy Akin's Mysterious World and Secrets of Middle-Earth. These programs cover diverse topics, including science, sacred art, and the fictional worlds of authors like J.R.R. Tolkien. By creating over 50 hours of content each month, SQPN engages in substantial evangelization efforts, educating and entertaining audiences while promoting Catholic values.

Governance and Structure

The organization is led by a board of directors, which includes Dom Bettinelli as the Chief Executive Officer and other notable members such as Fr. Chip Hines and Jimmy Akin. SQPN operates independently of any diocesan or official Church sponsorship, relying on donations from its supporters to continue its work.
