Supporting the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind The mission of the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation is to secure resources that will enable the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind to achieve its mission and goals. The SC School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation works closely with businesses, corporations, other foundations, civic groups and individuals to maximize each student’s individual opportunities for success. Through education, we seek to build understanding, acceptance and support for persons with sensory disabilities so that they are able to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives of productivity and independence.
