⚜️FAA Anatomy Field Trip! ⚜️ Very recently, our Director of Anatomy and Écorché, @maudiebradyart Maudie Brady, led a group of anatomy students on an unforgettable field trip to Bologna! They visited the historic Archiginnasio Palace, home to the Anatomical Theatre of Bologna, a magnificent 17th-century amphitheater where dissections were once performed beneath intricate wooden carvings and statues. The group also explored the Luigi Cattaneo Anatomical Wax Collection, an amazing archive of preserved anatomical models. Just a short train or bus ride from Florence, Bologna is one of the world’s oldest university cities and a historic center for both anatomical science and the arts!
