To do that, PowHerNY takes a holistic and collaborative approach to “women's issues" by reframing the conversation. We connect the organizations and issues related to economic equality - equal pay, paid leave, childcare and others - and weave them into a larger cooperative community, reflecting the multifaceted, complex lives of women today. PowHerNY is one of the first collaborative networks of its kind, leading the way with an inclusive approach to createa new wave of activism.
