In just a month and as the Home Health Intake Assistant, Gem has already made a big impression with her positivity, appreciation for community, and her deep respect for the hardworking home health team. 🚗 Fun Fact: Gem recently made the ultimate road trip — 25 hours from California to Kansas! She cruised through Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado before landing here in the Sunflower State. No regrets, just good vibes and scenic views! 🏋️‍♀️ Powerhouse Alert: Gem is a powerlifting athlete with nearly 5 years of experience. She even holds a California state record for deadlifting 340 lbs. in her weight class — talk about strength! She’s eyeing new competitions this year and training hard. 💜 What Gem Loves About Meadowlark: “The good vibes and sense of community — everyone’s willingness to help really stood out. For someone new like me, it means a lot.” 📋 On Her Role: “It’s a pleasure to assist our wonderful HH nurses. Having worked across caregiving and home health for over 10 years, I know how tough this field is. Big shoutout to Aubrey and Jayme for welcoming me to the team!” 🍽️ In Her Free Time: Gem’s either hitting the gym, planning her next meet, or exploring new food spots and Kansas road trip gems.
