HURON AREA CENTER FOR INDEPENDENCE IS COMMITTED TO DEVELOP SERVICES THAT MAKE THE COMMUNITIES OF CHOICE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE; MAKE INSTITUIONAL AND SEGREGATED ENVIRONMENTS UNNECESSARY AND SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF RELATIONSHIPS IN WHICH ALL PEOPLE ARE RESPECTED AS ESSENTIAL MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITIES. ASSIST PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES THROUGH INSTRUCTION, ADVOCACY, AND SUPPORT ASSURE THE PEOPLE EXPERIENCE FRIENDSHIP, INDEPENDENCE, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE.
