We partner with schools so that students, particularly students in the academic middle, will be successful in college and a career. AVID believes that the most effective way to help schools is to improve the quality of their teachers' instruction. This builds sustainability and positive morale directly into the fabric of a school and district. And a marked improvement in a community's schools creates ripples of benefit for the community. It is vital to involve the community in the success of its schools, and AVID is delivered in such a way that the family created in AVID can be extended to a community of hope for the success of students.
