HAL AND JEAN GLASSEN MEMORIAL FOUNDATION CLEAN WATERWAYS AWARD The MOWA Clean Waterways Award recognizes and rewards organizations who demonstrate continuous voluntary efforts to protect preserve and enhance the lakes rivers and streams of Michigan. Joining MOWA in 2012 helped put my outdoor writing career on a faster track. All the sudden I was getting calls and emails from editors who said that they heard from another MOWA member that I was in the area they needed an assignment done in.
