Rebuilding Together-St. Louis
Bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners in need since 1992. Our Mission Repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives. We provide low-income homeowners with free home repair within St. Louis City and County. Rebuilding Together's mission is to bring volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners. A group of volunteers conceived the idea in 1973 in Midland, Texas. The concept expanded from Texas to other states in and in 1988, the national organization was formed with 13 programs across the county. There are now over 130 affiliate programs. Rebuilding Together-St. Louis incorporated in 1992 with the first Rebuilding Day held in May of 1993. To date over 3500 homes have been repaired in St. Louis. The work done on these homes is free for the homeowner, and done primarily by skilled and unskilled volunteers.

Our work supports individual homeowners and helps them remain in the houses where they have invested their time and money where they have raised their families and where they want to stay.
