🥚☀️Eggs... it's what's for breakfast!☀️🥚 This morning, the Life Skills students in our Arc Gateway PALS program learned how to cook eggs for themselves. PALS is designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who want to learn new skills and get a job. Our goal is to provide substantial and relevant learning experiences that lead to meaningful employment. Our students participate in an array of classes and learn new skills in as little as one year. PALS provides career training as well as structured coursework that may include: money and basic financial literacy skills, problem solving, cooking and food shopping, community awareness, computer and internet skills, safety, personal health, and self-advocacy.
