Growing leaders and scholars and igniting a love of learning Project Based Learning PBL In PBL students go through an extended process of inquiry in response to a complex question problem or challenge. Rigorous projects help students learn key academic content and practice 21st Century Skills such as collaboration communication critical thinking. Music Music strengthens the communication between the two hemispheres of the brain and is the only subject that lights up all parts of the brain simultaneously meaning that students who participate in and practice music regularly see a heightened ability to synthesize and analyze information as well an increase in learning and retaining new information. Art We focus on artists from classic to contemporary while they create art in a variety of mediums acrylic watercolor collage sculpture drawing and much more.
