We Power Communities Our Organization WindAid Institute is an American and Peruvian nonprofit organization dedicated to providing renewable energy technology and learning workshops to communities who do not have access to electricity in rural Peru. We engineer solutions to this problem by harnessing wind energy to provide a clean and reliable source of electricity. WindAid also serves as an educational institute welcoming students from all over the world. Our Work WindAid works to electrify rural and remote parts of Peru by donating smallscale wind turbine and solar systems to families who do not have access to the grid.
