To help heal the emotional wounds of military Veterans by using the power of the human-animal bond to provide a second chance for shelter animals by rescuing, training, and pairing them with with America's servicemen and women who could benefit from having a companion animal.

All Pets for Vets® trainers are professionally certified through respected programs like Karen Pryor Academy (KPA), Victoria Stillwell Academy (VSA), and Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), and International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). Our trainers use positive reinforcement training techniques to build trust and strengthen the bond between Veterans and their companion animals.
