Carova Beach Volunteer Fire and Rescue - Home Welcome to Carova Beach Volunteer Fire and Rescue Carova Beach is a unique fourwheeldriveonly oceanfront community on the northern end of North Carolinas Outer Banks. The name Carova comes from the fact that it sits adjacent to theNorth Carolina Caroand Virginia va line and many of its original residents accessed the area through Virginia. Carova Beach Volunteer Fire and Rescue services the 12mile stretch of unimproved roads from the North Beach access at the end of the pavement in Corolla to the NCVAline. Station 7 is the primary station housing theapparatus and a landing zone for air medical services.
