UTTC is offering a new Associate of Science (AS) degree in Indigenous Fine Arts, starting this fall. This program highlights foundational art techniques with Indigenous materials and cultural perspectives in a wide variety of courses, such as ceramics, beadwork, jewelry making, and pottery. Students will engage in traditional art forms and contemporary expression, fostering a deep connection to heritage and personal expression. Hands-on learning emphasizes studio work and community-based projects, preparing graduates for careers as artists, educators, gallery curators, and cultural preservationists.
