Women's Camaraderie Therapy (WCT), for Female Active Duty, Female Vets and Spouses of active duty/vets, met up at @k1circuit to rip go karts, then finished with dinner. WCT isn't a group that sits around and Kumbayas, these ladies meet up to celebrate their awesomeness, while also creating a larger support network for like minded individuals. It's with the heaviest of hearts, that we have to share that Danny's beloved service dog, Mac, crossed over the rainbow bridge. Mac's impact was huge. The loss is bigger. As Danny was recovering from being blown up in Iraq, he was plagued with seizures, that the doctors couldn't get a hold of. Mac came to Danny through @caninesupportteams and was trained to be a seizure alert dog. For well over a decade, wherever Danny was, there was Mac, keeping a watchful eye on his dad, with periodic breaks to play fetch. Mac greeted everyone at Warfighter Made, and sat passenger next to Danny as we revealed custom machines to dozens of catastrophically wounded warfighters. He was there for hundreds of trips and was an anti-anxiety, stress reliever to just as many vets. He stared in a Kenmore commercial and was a hit during our stint on TV with @supercrosslive. Mac had the best "happy tail", but he was at the prefect height to whip that thing around and catch a male right in "that" spot and dropped plenty off hard core combat vets to their knees. He dropped the same vet three times in one day, and whenever Mac was around, those in the know, subconsciously "covered up". Mac was the reason Rob decided to get a service dog, but the first time puppy Ronin met Mac, Ronin, who was in training, wouldn't leave Mac alone, so Mac gave Ronin a "little" correction, teaching him a valuable lesson in personal space. They became bestest friends after. When Warfighter Made presented tumblers to all its volunteers with names on them, Danny's tumbler simply said "Danny-Mac".
