Higher Ground Retreat, founded in 1975, is a 110-acre haven set aside for religious activities. Our organization is operated by a Board of Directors. Each member of the Board is active in his/her home church and has grown to love the ministry of Higher Ground through their service to Blue Ridge Christian Ministries. It is the Board's desire to offer any Christian in need of spiritual renewal a place to come to further their walk with the Lord.

Welcome to Higher Ground Christian Retreat There are times when we need to escape from the world. The demands of daily living distract us to the point where it is difficult to commune with God. This is why we need to come apart to come together. Knowing we would need to commune with Him God created a secluded spot called Higher Ground.
