Happy Founder’s Day! ⭐ On April 13, 1904, we opened our doors to people with developmental disabilities and welcomed five children to our first home in Watertown, WI. AbleLight began with a mission to provide a safe, loving place for people with developmental disabilities, and we’re proud to celebrate over 120 years of growth and impact. Today wraps up our 120th anniversary year. Looking back at the last year, we’re grateful to everyone that supported our mission – including our incredible employees, generous supporters, and families of the amazing people we care for. As the industry and our organization have evolved over time, our dedication to our mission has remained the same.
