We have a few more spots available for vendors to join us at the annual Maryland Iron Festival (May 17th & 18th). Do you make and sell handmade items? The Catoctin Furnace Historical Society invites you to apply to be a vendor at the 2025 Maryland Iron Festival, on May 17 (10am-6pm) and 18 (10am-4pm). Vendors would be expected to attend for the full length of the festival. The registration fee is $100 with a discounted fee of $80 if you demonstrate your craft. Vendors may bring their own 10'x10' tent, or choose to have a 10'x8' space under a provided tent. Step Back In Time Explore the unique Catoctin Furnace living history village. The Catoctin Furnace HistoricalSociety Inc. commemorates studies and preserves the rich history of this historic industrialvillage including the architecture cultural landscapes lifeways and foodways of the enslavedAfricans free African Americans and European immigrant laborers and families. The Museum of the Ironworker is reopening on March 8th January and February have been busy months at Catoctin Furnace albeit with some weather challenges.
