DFW Canines for Veterans, which was founded by Melissa Vann. Our mission statement is three-fold: Our mission is providing service canines to military veterans suffering from PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries. In hopes to ease the debilitating discomfort of PTSD & TBI of veterans when partnered with their service dogs. Provide education to the public via presentations to various schools, civic organizations, media and social sites etc., on PTSD and veteran education with the help of service dogs.
