Area Agency on Aging Our Mission To enhance the quality of life for elders in our service areathrough education planning and coordination of services. Connections Area Agency on Aging has teamed up with USAging and Ring on a new community initiative to help older adults maintain their independence and quality of life as they age. Ring is donating up to 500 Ring Battery Doorbell PlusVideo Doorbells and a free subscription for the life for each device. Applications open to those 60 or greater family caregivers or adults living with a disability.

Meet Fran – Proof That a Dream Doesn’t Have a Timeline After dedicating 25+ years to a challenging career in human services, Fran’s life took an unexpected turn. Though she had always dreamed of being a writer—ever since a childhood book report wowed her mother—life demanded a pause. In her 50s, Fran wrote her first children’s book, The Turquoise Monkey, but had to step away when her son faced difficulties, and she took in her three young grandchildren, then just an infant, 2, and 4 years old.
