The Cary Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is a nonprofit organization located in Cary, North Carolina. It is an alumni chapter of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., which was founded on January 5, 1911, at Indiana University.
History
The Cary Alumni Chapter was chartered on October 28, 1989, by a group of dedicated brothers. The chapter's establishment was championed by Brother Charles Anderson, a visionary leader who served as the Polemarch of the Raleigh Alumni Chapter before moving to the Research Triangle area. The formation of the chapter was driven by the need to serve Western Wake County, an area that was underserved by community service programs from nearby chapters.

Mission and Activities

Recent initiatives under the leadership of Devin Brown, the 21st Polemarch, have included expanding youth programs and partnering with local organizations like M&F Bank to promote financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

The Cary Alumni Chapter actively participates in community events, such as the Annual Cary Jaycees Christmas Parade, where they spread holiday cheer and engage with the local community. Additionally, they have hosted wellness events in partnership with other organizations to promote mental health awareness and holistic well-being.
