📚 From Classroom to Kayak 🛶 6th-graders from Crittenden Middle School recently participated in our beloved Mariners' Lake Effect Program! 🌊 They had a blast paddling across the Lake and diving into hands-on learning about our local watershed and water quality testing. We love this program because it offers students a powerful connection to the water. Many students who visit The Mariners' have never swum or kayaked and are afraid. This experience helps them realize they can overcome their fears and accomplish more than they ever thought possible. When they step into those kayaks, they’re not just students anymore — they’re mariners. And the memories they create out on the water are ones they’ll carry for a lifetime. 💙 (fb)
