ENGLISH BULLDOG RESCUE NETWORK INC
It is our mission to save as many bulldogs as possible, and with a group of dedicated fosters across the Houston area, we are able to save many dogs each year. Each dog comes in with a different background and sometimes we never know what he or she has been through before entering our care. Many dogs are either turned into a shelter as a stray or surrendered by their owner. When a bulldog comes into EBRN the first priority is to evaluate it and determine what the immediate vetting needs are and decide which foster home the dog would be best suited in. We decide if the dog may or may not be good around children, dog or cat aggressive, food aggressive or just simply need to be in a foster home that can devote more time and attention to help meet his or her needs.
English Bulldog Rescue Network Inc.
The English Bulldog Rescue Network Inc. is a non-profit organization based in the United States, specifically operating in the Houston area. Established to help rescue and rehome English Bulldogs, the organization relies on a network of dedicated volunteers and fosters who share a passion for the breed.
Mission
The mission of the English Bulldog Rescue Network Inc. is to save as many English Bulldogs as possible by providing them with temporary care and finding suitable forever homes. This includes assisting owner surrenders, shelter dogs, and strays.
Operations
- Volunteer and Foster Network: The organization relies heavily on volunteer efforts and foster families to ensure the welfare and proper care of rescued dogs. These networks provide essential support for Bulldogs awaiting adoption.
- Adoption Process: Prospective adopters must complete an application, undergo a vet check, home visit, and interview to ensure a suitable match between the dog and the new family.
- Healthcare for Dogs: Rescued dogs are fully vetted, including spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping. Dogs diagnosed with conditions such as heartworms receive the necessary treatment before adoption.
Funding
The organization is funded entirely through donations, as it does not generate income from operations. Adoption fees, which vary based on the age, condition, and needs of the dog, rarely cover the full veterinary costs incurred.
The English Bulldog Rescue Network Inc. is registered with the IRS under the Employer Identification Number (EIN) 45-3743601.
