SAN DIEGO NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HISPANIC NURSES
The mission of the SDNAHN is “Working to address the educational and health care needs of the Hispanic community”. SDNAHN works to provide Hispanic/Latino(a) and all other nurses to address specific health and medical issues related to the Hispanic/Latino culture. JOIN: all active/retired nurses, and currently enrolled nursing students, and is open to hospital systems, clinics, agencies, schools, pharmacies, businesses, or anyone who is interested in the promotion of health care in the Hispanic and under served communities. SDNAHN works to ensure that local Hispanic and other nurses and nursing students have access to educational, professional and economic opportunities, encourages nurse members to pursue advanced degrees in nursing, and detect barriers to quality education.
