Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System
The Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System is an 18-member governing body responsible for overseeing the University of Wisconsin System. It includes 16 members appointed by the Governor of Wisconsin, subject to Senate confirmation, and two ex officio members: the state superintendent of public instruction and a representative of the Wisconsin Technical College System Board. Two of the appointed members are students, one of whom is a non-traditional student, each serving a two-year term.
