THE MISSION OF THE LOUISIANA HOUSING ALLIANCE IS TO ENSURE THAT ALL LOUISIANANS, ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH LOW INCOMES AND SPECIAL NEEDS, HAVE SAFE, DECENT, ACCESSIBLE, AFFORDABLE HOMES. IN PARTICULAR, LHA SUPPORTS THE CREATION OF HOUSING THAT IS DESIGNED FOR CONTINUED AFFORDABILITY, SUPPORTS EFFORTS TO PRESERVE EXISTING LOW-INCOME AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING STOCK, PROMOTES INITIATIVES THAT SUPPORT EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING ACCESSIBLE AND OTHERWISE MEET UNMET NEEDS IN THE AFFORDABLE AND LOW-INCOME HOUSING MARKETS, AND SUPPORT INITIATIVES THAT CAUSE AND PROMOTE FAIR AND OPEN LENDING.
