Building bridges between community and the police The Charlottesville Police Foundation is an independent nonprofit that fosters community wellbeing by supporting policing excellence providing training and equipment beyond the City budget and promoting meaningful community engagement so that officers can do their finest work on behalf of all Charlottesville residents. We are here to support officers and the community engage in dialogue to break down barriers and help all of us understand each other better.
