Cleveland Water Alliance’s (CWA) mission is to foster a world-class freshwater innovation ecosystem that spurs the economy, harnesses technology, informs decision makers, and drives engagement and research. As the shallowest and warmest of the five Great Lakes, Lake Erie is the most biodiverse and bioproductive, though it is also the most vulnerable to the region’s agricultural, community, and industrial dynamics. CWA accelerates the region’s water economy by generating solutions to freshwater issues locally and across the globe.
