We are pleased to announce that the State of Missouri House of Representatives and Senate have included a $1,000,000 appropriation for CSL in their Fiscal Year 2026 budget. The State appropriation is for continued support of CSL’s Eastern Jackson County Drop-In Center, which is working to address the growing number of unsheltered persons in our community. This support will help us renovate our space at Good Shepherd Community of Christ to have showers, restrooms, laundry facilities, and hot meal service. CSL would like to thank our Jackson County delegation of Representatives and Senators for their support and advocacy. Our appropriation received bipartisan support in the House and Senate, and we applaud our elected leaders for collaborating on solutions that help our vulnerable neighbors.
