Detroit Magic Child Development mission is to work with parents, churches, schools and other organizations to provide a nurturing environment in the community. Providing programs that will build character and promote academic achievement with our youth. To enhance the self esteem, emotional, social, cultural and physical development of our participants. Detroit Magic Child's project will be to continue providing after school programs for youth ages 6 - 17. Concentrating on improving their academic skills, focusing on stem related subjects in ( math and science ) as well as reading, testing and study habits. To help prepare them for higher education. To continue our work alternative program for youth ages 14 - 17 and adults. Teaching them life and trade skills for career opportunities.
