Meet our mentor Ms. Melody! She started mentoring in on our 2/3 classroom in January and we love how thoughtful and caring she's been. We asked her a couple about her experience at Common Good. 🔷How did you get involved with Common Good? I received an email about the opportunity to mentor at Common Good and thought it sounded interesting. It’s my first time doing anything like this, and I’m really glad I became a part of it. 🔷What's your favorite part about being a mentor? My favorite part about mentoring is talking with the kids. I was surprised at first by how easily we can carry a conversation and how interesting it is. It makes me feel connected with everyone. 🔷What is your favorite activity to participate in with the students you mentor? I like coloring and playing board games with the students. They’re activities that we both enjoy, and it’s always really fun getting to be creative and competitive with them. (fb)
