THE PURPOSES OF THE ICS ARE TO: - UNITE INTO ONE EFFECTIVE BODY THE CHIROPRACTIC PHYSICIANS OF IOWA; - PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE SCIENCE AND ART OF CHIROPRACTIC HEALTH CARE; - PROMOTE THE PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS AND EDUCATION OF THE ICS MEMBERS; - GATHER AND DISSEMINATE RELIABLE INFORMATION PERTAINING TO THE PROFESSION AND SCIENCE OF CHIROPRACTIC FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION; - ENHANCE IN EVERY WAY THE PROFESSIONAL WELFARE OF ICS MEMBERS; - UPHOLD THE DIGNITY AND HONOR OF THE PROFESSION; - EVER SEEK TO MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE THE ABILITIES OF THE ICS MEMBERS FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND HEALTH OF THEIR PATIENTS; - ENCOURAGE ICS MEMBERS TO EVER ABIDE BY THE CODE OF ETHICS AS ESTABLISHED BY THE IOWA BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS; AND, - REPRESENT THE CHIROPRACTIC PROFESSION IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN.
