Tackle the Storm Foundation
A fishing pole is the magic wand of childhood. When a storm takes that pole away, a little bit of the magic of childhood is taken away too. Our mission is simply to give back the magic to the child. A few weeks after a devastating tornado, or other storm, we put the fishing poles lost, back into the hands of young and old anglers, and then take them fishing for a day. The magic wands are theirs to keep, as is the magic of that day. We have so far put over 1,000 anglers back on the water. A day on a lake, fishing, gets their mind off the destruction around them, and it is their smiles on that day, that in a small way, helps them, Tackle The Storm.
