Dr. Michele Forbes founded SLF in June of 2015 soon after the opening of Compassionate Care Animal Hospital CCAH. This veterinary practice of well seasoned doctors and staff very familiar with the stress of caring for sick or injured animals intended for Spirits Legacy Fund to help families mitigate the costs when faced with difficult decisions about what medical treatments to pursue in order to care for their pets.
