DASA hosted Gateway Games in partnership with The Hartford this past weekend at various sites throughout the St. Louis Area. We distributed over 400 medals to 130+ athletes from 10 different states in air rifle, archery, track and field, powerlifting, a paratriathlon, swimming, and our toddler games! We could not have created this experience for these athletes without the generous support and contributions from our 100+ volunteers from groups and organizations like QuikTrip, Keeley Construction Group, Broken Barbell Gym, St. Louis University High School, and Francis Howell School District, in addition to countless others. A special thank you to Move United Sport, Central County Fire & Rescue, Puritan Springs Water, and TRXC Timing, LLC for partnering with us to make this event such a success. The Hartford also awarded $10,000 of adaptive equipment to athletes, and a $2,500 scholarship to DASA Athlete & Coach, and Human Achievement Award winner Ryan Harrison.
