Washington State Keepers of the Capsule
Keepers of the Capsule is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, created to help celebrate Washington State's Centennial on November 11, 1989. 2014 brought a new generation of Keepers recruited from around our State to promote the Centennial Time Capsule. Keepers of the Capsule is a non-profit organization established in 1990 to assist the guardians or “Keepers” of the Washington Centennial Time Capsule. The Keepers are volunteers who have pledged to preserve the time capsule and enlist new generations of Keepers every 25 years to support the capsule. This chain of stewardship will ensure that the time capsule reaches its final destination, Washington State’s 500th anniversary in 2389.
