💔 It is with deep heartbreak, we share the passing of one of our beloved Miracle League athletes. Brianna Isabelle Smejkal 12/23/1999 – 5/12/2025 For over 10 years, Brianna was a cherished part of the MLPBC family. She gave us a moment that will forever define the spirit of our league. Though wheelchair-bound, Brianna rose to her feet and walked from third base to home — a moment of quiet courage that left us in absolute awe. It wasn’t just a walk. It was a testament to her fierce determination, radiant heart, and the power of possibility. Brianna proudly represented our league at the Woman of Grace luncheon — a title she fully embodied. Her beloved buddies, Coleman and Diane, adored her deeply, and their bond was something truly special. There are simply no words. Our league has suffered another unimaginable loss. Brianna is now forever at home — healed, free, and dancing joyfully around the bases as our Angel In The Outfield.
