The athletic portion of DMV KIDS Inc. called Full Count Baseball is in full swing as baseball season has begun. Our 8u, 11u and 14u teams have started both tournament and league play. Full Count Baseball is the athletic portion of DMV Kids Inc. that prepares young men and women ages 4-14 years on and off the baseball field by teaching the proper fundamentals of baseball as well as teaching them life skills through baseball as well. With Full Count we also have added an educational piece to ensure that our young men and women understand how important academic success is off the field in order to be on the field. Our Student-Athletes have weekly progress reports collected during the season which teachers must fill out in order for them to play each week during the season. All of our student-athletes are trained by ETC (Enhanced Training Champions) during the off-season. ETC trains many of the professional, college and top high school athletes in The DMV area. Full Count Baseball has players who come from single family homes, families who may not be able to afford the costs of playing baseball as well as players who live with guardians due to various personal reasons. We strive to provide players in these situations the opportunity to play baseball by holding fundraisers throughout the year as well as accepting tax deductible donations which help to cover the expenses of these players.
