There’s nothing more beautiful than the sound of three tiny kittens nursing after a whirlwind seven hours. Last night, this brave mama gave birth during the storm, and a Good Samaritan brought her and one of her babies to us. We knew right away mamas rarely have just one. So our team gently guided him back to search, and by some miracle, two more kittens were found soaked, freezing, and clinging to life. All three were severely hypothermic. Our team sprang into action, working tirelessly through the afternoon to warm them, treat them, and help mama understand that she was safe and loved. And just as we stabilized this little family, two more urgent cases came through our door.
