Hoa Vo Uu Foundation is a non-profit organization and shall be operated exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. The specific purposes of this foundation are: 1) To promote The Buddha, Dharma, and Shanga and to maintain, bridge dialogue between Buddhist practitioners and other world religions in order to increase awareness of the Buddha teaching, to promote understanding and cooperation among different religions. 2) To lead, participate in various activities such as charitable, religious, educational, cultural, social, and other activities for the benefit of both Buddhist and non-Buddhist communities.
