Meet your 2025 Making Over Cancer Board of Directors! Deirdre “Dee” Froehlich is a Senior Business Developer at The Greenery Inc., specializing in the maintenance division within the Coastal Empire market. Originally from South Africa, Dee immigrated in 1996 and has called Savannah home for over 25 years. Outside of work, Dee is a proud mother of two sons; 24 year old Jared serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, and 27 year old Sheldon who is married to Andrea and will soon be making her a first-time grandmother! Personally and professionally, Dee has a gift for building relationships and fostering teamwork. She served as a leader within BNI for over six years and held the role of Director with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) for two years, where she learned the value of collaboration and the strength of a supportive team. Beyond her professional life, Dee is a strong advocate for community involvement. She has served as an Ambassador for the Greater Pooler Chamber of Commerce and currently leads as President of the Ambassador Council. One cause especially close to her heart is Making Over Cancer, an organization that supports cancer survivors in the local community. Dee lost her sister to metastatic breast cancer in 2016—a courageous woman who not only fought her own battle but also gave back through a nonprofit organization in Canada. Dee hopes to honor her sister’s legacy by supporting the Making Over Cancer mission, striving to be the same kind of warrior and role model. We are so grateful for the passion and energy that Dee brings to our team, please help us give her a warm welcome! (fb)

Meet your 2025 Making Over Cancer Board of Directors! Jenny Alberson lives Bluffton, SC with her husband and 3 kids. She has spent the past nine years as the Marketing Director of Tanger Hilton Head, where she strives to bring people together through memorable events and meaningful experiences. With a deep love for creative hosting and thoughtful details, she’s passionate about making others feel seen, celebrated, and cared for. Cancer hits very close to home for Jenny—her mother passed away from esophageal cancer at 47, her grandmother lost her life to lung cancer despite never smoking, and her mother-in-law is a two-time breast cancer survivor. These personal experiences fuel her commitment to supporting survivors not just in healing, but in reclaiming their beauty and confidence. She has a gift for anticipating the unspoken needs of others and creating environments that make people feel right at home. She’s excited to bring that same energy to Making Over Cancer and help survivors feel confident, radiant, and comfortable in their own skin. Jenny not only brings a stellar skillset to the table, but she never fails to bring her contagious laughter and fun-loving energy into every room she enters. Please help us give a warm welcome to Jenny! (fb)
