THE HUMAN IMPACT
Befriend the homeless, bridge the relational gap, and build longterm community to change lives. Our mission is to befriend the homeless and bridge the relational gap to change lives. Our method is simple: it is through friendship. We have gone to the same neighborhood multiple times a week where 500 homeless people live, either in a shelter nearby or on the streets. We've been going to the same place for over seven years; we are trusted by the community. As we build relationship, we take our new friends through an intentional five-step process that often takes 1-3 years. Our collaborative process towards wholeness includes: building trust, forming friendship, identifying root causes, helping someone stabilize through work/housing, and ultimately living in supportive commmunity.
