National Horse Carriers Association Leading The Horse Transportation Industry Since 1960 Founded in 1960 the National Horse Carriers Association NHCA encourages and promotes high standards in the horse transportation industry. Striving to always stay informed on the latest information regulations and technology the NHCA hosts guest speakers at its meetings ranging from the Department of Transportation DOT United States Department of Agriculture USDA state veterinarians and have worked with major truck stop chains to improve access to the horse transportation communitys needs. Weve also had the honor of sending members to speak in front of state and federal legislators on horse transportation safety. Currently the NHCA has 29 members across 18 States.
