Our Mission Our mission is to support and enhance EMS systems across Northwestern Minnesota Background Information Greater Northwest Emergency Medical Services is one of eight regional EMS planning agencies statewide. It is designated as the lead regional EMS program for the 12 county area of Northwestern Minnesota by the Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board EMSRB. Established in 1999 as a nonprofit organization its appointed program responsibilities are facilitated under federal EMS guidelines.
