Just weeks after Sammie Gaines Jr. and his wife, Shelly, celebrated the birth of their first son, Sammie was diagnosed with stage 4 gastric adenocarcinoma (stomach cancer), which had metastasized. Tragically, Sammie passed away within a few months of his diagnosis. During this incredibly difficult time, we are rallying to support Shelly and their family.
