TEAM BUFFALO'S Donate Life Month Step Challenge! This month, they’re coming together to celebrate life, raise awareness, and make a real impact. Every step participants take not only brings them closer to their goal of promoting organ donation, but also honors those who give the gift of life and those waiting for a life-saving transplant. Whether walking, running, or strolling, each step counts. This is more than just a fitness challenge – it's a way to show support for the Donate Life movement and inspire others to join the cause. No additional equipment is needed; all they need is a smartphone and the Pacer app to track progress. Let’s lace up shoes, hit our stride, and make every step count for life! Donations will support Team Buffalo as they prepare for the 2026 Transplant Games of America. This challenge is limited to 100 participants, with a suggested donation of at least $10.00 each. Core Rules -Track progress, earn a point for each day they reach the daily goal, and compete to see who can get the most points. -Allowed Activities: Walking, running, hiking, and step-based activities. Manual input is not allowed. -Daily Step Goal: 7,000 steps. -PRIZES! Four weekly prizes (gift certificates) will be awarded. Team Philadelphia is hosting an amazing 10K/5K run and 3K walk event to celebrate Donate Life Month! Since 1996, Donor Dash has been their region’s premier event to raise funds and awareness for organ and tissue donation, honoring donor families, transplant recipients, and waitlist patients. Last year’s Dash drew 15,000 participants. The excitement and family fun of Dash include games, live music, a Kids Fun Run, and the three main events: a 5K Run, 10K Run, and 3K Walk. A virtual option is also available to Dash from anywhere! Their 2025 Dash will honor Gift of Life’s milestone 50 years of saving lives! Thanks to their generous community, Gift of Life has coordinated the most donor heroes and life-saving organs for transplant since the start of the national donation system. More than a quarter of a million people of all ages have taken part in the Donor Dash since its founding. The life-saving message of Dash reaches millions more each year through media and community participation.
